March 13, 2024: New Domain Name

To better reflect the expanded content on Marketproof Pro beyond just new developments, we are updating the domain to You should see your browser automatically direct you the new domain.

March 8, 2024: Co-Ops Added for All Users

When we launched Marketproof Pro in 2021, we focused exclusively on bringing transparency to new developments, a notoriously opaque asset class. Over time, as our users grew, requests came in hard and fast to expand the offering. In 2022, we added resale condos, and today, we introduce co-ops. In the near future, we'll also added single-family and townhouses.

You can now search every co-op building and analyze sales, pricing, discounts, and more. We have also updated our analytical tools to segment the market more concisely.

For example, you can segment market activity or analyze price trends by asset class.

February 16, 2024: Permit Search

The complete DOB permit database is now available and searchable to Marketproof Pro subscribers. You'll find Permits under the Filings tab on a building page. You can search by the permit fling date, issuance date, job type, work type, and status.

January 15, 2024: ACRIS Document Search

The complete ACRIS database is now available and searchable to Marketproof Pro subscribers. You'll find Documents under the Filings tab on a building page. You can search by the document type, date, and amount. You can also search for the parties involved' names. Each document is organized and connected to the building and unit.

December 12, 2023: Buyer's Attorney in Past Sales

Buyer's attorneys are now available in the Past Sales section on Marketproof Pro. Marketproof created a database buyer's attorneys for the most recent closed sales and made this available to subscribers. The attorney database will continue to grow as more sales close.

June 7, 2023: Lenders and Agents in Past Sales

Listing agents, brokerages, lenders, and loan officers are now available in the Past Sales section on Marketproof Pro. After a sale closes, Marketproof captures the various participants and makes this insight available to subscribers.

In the advanced search, you can search for participants by name to see who's working with whom and on which deals.

May 22, 2023: More Resale Analytics

With the expansion of Marketproof Pro into a comprehensive solution for real estate professionals, we are introducing more resale analytics.

To start, we have added an analysis of crucial building metrics by time, sales trend, and resale-specific charts. The new features can be found in the Analysis tab of any resale stage building.

May 10, 2023: AI Assistant

Marketproof has added an AI Assistant for all users. The initial capability of the AI Assistant is writing listing descriptions with the click of a button. Though many NYC real estate professionals have discovered the benefits of using ChatGPT, people quickly learn that it is limited by what it knows and can be prone to errors. To help solve this problem, Marketproof uses its vast data to help ChatGPT fine-tune the listing description.

Look for the AI Assistant button on any unit page to generate a listing description. Just select the task, set your preferences (optional) and let our AI Assistant do the work. Marketproof sends your choices plus more than 20 different targeted data points to ChatGPT to get you a personalized listing description within seconds.

April 23, 2023: Loan Originators and Real Estate Agents

See the top lenders and agents in a building.

Marketproof has unlocked loan originator information from thousands of mortgages to show you who's lending where. Top Agents shows you who has the most listings within the building. You can filter by time period to help your customer make the right connections.

March 22, 2023: Energy Use & Carbon Emissions

Delve into a building's energy use with a slew of new indicators and charts.

With sustainability and carbon reduction top of mind, not to mention new regulations such as LL97, Marketproof has added a new Energy section to help you make sense of a building's energy use and potential compliance risks.

Charts show how the building's energy use changes over time and compares to similar buildings within the market.

Energy info can be found under the Environment tab of building detail pages.

February 19, 2023: Flood Risk

Help your clients understand flood risk. Buildings that are in or near food zones are subject to federally mandated flood insurance, driving up the total cost of ownership.

January 18, 2023: Verified Contract Date and Price

Verified contract dates and sold prices are now available. Just look for the verified check mark on past sales.

While contract dates and prices have been available since the launch of Marketproof New Development in 2021, that information depends on real estate agent reporting and can be incomplete. With the addition of ACRIS RP-5217 verification, contract details are extracted for every sale from recorded documents to produce a complete and accurate picture.

May 27, 2022: Export Your Collections

You can now download your collections as a CSV file.

Maximize your data credits by pinpointing the exact units and buildings you want to download. Just make a collection and click the download icon.

May 25, 2022: Asking & Sold Prices on Stacking Plans

Stacking Plans will now show unit prices so you can get the info without having to navigate away.

Sold price is shown for units that have been sold and last asking price is shown for all other units.

May 4, 2022: Tax Abatements & Assessments

Search Buildings by Tax Benefits

Want to know which buildings have more than 10 years remaining on a 421a? You can now search buildings by tax benefits and by how many years remain on the abatement.

Latest Tax Assessment and Quick Link to Tax Bill on Every Unit

Unit pages have a new tab that shows you the latest tax assessment. Quick links take you directly to the latest tax bill from the city.

Marketproof Collections is a new feature that enables you to curate and share a personalized group of buildings and units. Whether you're a real estate agent helping a client find the perfect home or a developer comparing projects, Collections is an invaluable tool.

April 8, 2022: Real Owner Addresses

Investors and second home buyers don't always live in the units they own so we extracted the their mailing addresses from deed documents. The owner's real mailing address is now included in owner list exports.

To export owner mailing addresses, just go to any building and look for the Owner List button.

March 25, 2022: More Data In Exports

Additional data points in unit and past sales exports allows you to do more analysis.


  • Past Sales Exports - Classification for sponsor vs resale, pre-calculated fields for price per square ft, percent discount, financing and more.

  • Unit Exports - More clarity in the current unit status along with pre-calculated fields.

Search filters across Marketproof New Dev & Condo received an upgrade. You can now target your search more specifically and across a wider range of values.


  • Multi-select - You are no longer limited to one selection per filter.

  • Sq Ft Range - Search properties by entering the minimum and maximum square footage.

  • Price / Sq Ft Range - Search by entering the minimum and maximum price per square foot across units and buildings.

  • % Sold Range - Search buildings by entering the minimum and maximum percent sold.

February 14, 2022: Sales Velocity Analysis

Sales velocity information has always been available on Marketproof at the building level, but our dedicated Sales Velocity tool now enables you to understand how a building’s contract activity aligns with comparable properties and how this activity relates to broader trends in New York City’s new development market.
